To
help you understand just how Groom n Go works, here
are some frequently asked questions:
What
exactly is
"in-home mobile dog grooming"? Most
have heard of mobile dog groomers that come to your home
with a big van or truck converted into a shop where
they groom your dog parked by your house, but Groom n Go
is different in that a professional groomer comes
to your house, and grooms your pet in
your house! All
you need to have is a spare room, garage, or any small
to medium sized open space in your house to set up the
grooming table with an electric outlet nearby for the
clippers and blow dryer, and a bathtub to bathe your dog
in. If you'll provide a trash bag & broom, we'll
gladly clean up after the grooming is over so you don't
have to.
What
are the benefits of in-home grooming? *Convenience
for you!
- No more running to the groomer, instead
the groomer comes to you!
*Lower
cost - Since
Groom n Go doesn't drive around a large van/truck like
most mobile groomers, we don't have the huge gas prices
to pay for running them and that means a lower price for
you! And most importantly...
*Comfort
for your pet!-
Some
dogs can get uneasy, scared and agitated when they get
groomed at a shop with unfamiliar people, sights,
smells, and surroundings. But we groom your dog in the
place it is most familiar with and comfortable - your
home!
Do
you groom large dogs? We
are sorry to say that at this time we are not able to
groom larger breed dogs (50+lbs) with our mobile
equipment. It's rather difficult hauling a 50+ lb dog
into a bathtub!
What
areas do you serve? Groom
n Go currently serves Wright, Douglas, & Laclede
counties.
What
is included in a full grooming? A
thorough hand brushing, bath, blow dry, nails clipped
and filed, ears plucked and cleaned, hair
trimmed/clipped and pretty bows and perfume if desired.
